Rhino Sands Safari Camp is in the Big 5 Manyoni Private Game Reserve. Set under canvas, the camp’s design emphasizes the romance of the classical safari experience but with all the modern luxuries. Each tented suite is situated in a private patch of riverine forest, with stunning views of the riverbed below. The tents open on three sides allowing guests to immerse themselves in the wilderness experience. Each suite features a private lounge area, indoor shower, bathtub, outdoor shower, butler service, ceiling fan, standing fan and swimming pool. In between game drives, relax in the lounge or bar deck. The chef will prepare a gourmet three-course dinner, featuring some of the flavors and ingredients South Africa is famous for. Day 2 - Arrive Johannesburg, South Africa/Cape Town
Arrive in Johannesburg and take a short domestic flight to your Cape Town destination. An African Travel, Inc. representative will escort you to the award-winning 5-star Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa. With its majestic Table Mountain backdrop, Cape Town is one of the most vibrant and beautiful cities in the world. The city is an eclectic mix of architectural styles, reflecting both the tastes of the past and more modern designs. Day 3 - Cape Town
The day is yours to fill with fun adventures and sights. Perhaps go on a guided city tour (additional cost). Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain, marvel at the colorful Malay Quarter, stroll through the Company Gardens, past the Houses of Parliament, and then test your bargaining skills at the bustling Greenmarket Square. Day 4 - Cape Town
Today is a day of leisure. We suggest a Cape Peninsula Tour (additional cost). On this tour you will see why the area earned the name of The Fairest Cape. Hug the cliffs as you snake along legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. You will have the opportunity to ride the Flying Dutchman funicular to the old lighthouse for awe-inspiring views! After lunch (on own account), continue along the coast to the lively penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Then head back to the city via the naval village of Simon’s Town. (B)

Day 5 - Cape Town
Spend your last day in Cape Town with some last minute shopping or visit one of the many places of interest. Take a walk down Kloof and Long streets and explore the buzzing bistros, boutiques, cafes and restaurants in the area. For wine connoisseurs, an excursion into the nearby wine country is a 'must do'. Stroll through the oak lined streets of Stellenbosch or the quaint village of Franschhoek, sample wines with chocolates, olives and cheeses or indulge in one of the many award-winning gourmet restaurants.(B)

Day 6 - Cape Town/Durban/Manyoni Private Game Reserve
Following breakfast, you will be transferred by private vehicle to the airport for your flight to Durban. On arrival, you will be transferred to Manyoni Private Game Reserve in the heart of Zululand. The area is rich with spectacular game viewing, rich cultural traditions, and conservation history. After a quick freshen up, meet for afternoon tea and set off on your first exhilarating game drive. Day 9 - Manyoni Private Game Reserve/Durban
After a morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred by private vehicle to Durban and the charming Oyster Box Hotel. Durban is an intriguing blend of East, West and African. It is the gateway to a multitude of leisure options from the dramatic peaks of the exquisite Drakensberg mountain range to traditional Zulu villages, magnificent game reserves, historic battle sites and the warm Indian Ocean lapping onto wide, sandy beaches.
